From Wednesday, January 26th through Monday, February 12th, you can vote once each day for YOUR child's school to win the "Most Fantabulous #DCSD School" contest. The winning schools will be announced on February 14th! Let’s show our schools some ❤️❤️❤️ this February!
This year’s contest has TWO winning schools, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors!
First Place gets a $500 Visa Gift Card from the Osgood Team Real Estate and a catered lunch for faculty and staff from Dream Dinners Parker
Second Place gets a $250 Visa Gift Card from Mathnasium in Parker and Highlands Ranch  ​

Battle of the Books
Two GRE teams will be competing against other Parker schools in the Battle of the Books. Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program sponsored by the Douglas County Libraries each year. Come join the fun and cheer on our school at the Parker library.

Open Enrollment Round two opens January 22nd
If you live outside of Gold Rush's boundaries and have a younger sibling to register you must complete Open Enrollment. If you did not complete an Open Enrollment during the first round, you will be able to apply for Open Enrollment beginning Monday, January 22nd. Visit GRE.DCSDk12.org for more information.
If you have a current 5th Grader and live outside of the Cimarron/Legend boundaries, you must Open Enroll to attend Cimaron in 6th grade.

2018-2019 Full Day Kindergarten
Registration for the Full Day Kindergarten program for the 2018-2019 school year will open at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1st. Full Day class placement will be made via a registration link that will be available on March 1st. Watch for emails and our website for additional information.

2018-2019 Enrollment Confirmation Survey
We are currently in the planning process for next year. If you have not done so already, please complete the Enrollment Survey to let us know if your child will be returning to Gold Rush, This will help ensure your child's class placement for the upcoming school year.

Sock Hop
We are looking for a few parent volunteers to help take money at our Sock Hop on Friday February 2nd from 6 pm to 8 pm.  We have high school volunteers to help with activities, but they are not allowed to take money.  You will be helping take quarters for the cake walk, money for dinner or selling items at our Candy Shop.  The shifts are in half hour increments to ensure that you will be able to spend some time with your family at this event. Important School Information

Open Enrollment Round two opens January 22nd
If you live outside of Gold Rush's boundaries and have a younger sibling to register you must complete Open Enrollment. If you did not complete an Open Enrollment during the first round, you will be able to apply for Open Enrollment beginning Monday, January 22nd. Visit GRE.DCSDk12.org for more information.

Jump Rope for Heart
Hello Parents!
Our school is partnering with the American Heart Association to help save lives. We are committed to keeping our community heart healthy while having fun at the same time.
